NORTH CRAWFORD-SENECA - The North Crawford-Seneca wrestling team started off the season traveling to Ithaca-Weston for their first conference dual.  Ithaca-Weston is projected to take the conference trophy this season and was able to defeat the NC-S team. 

Despite NC-S wrestling team losing their first dual, the Steele brothers were the highlight of the team.  Hemi Steele, wrestling at the 113-pound weight class was able to pin his opponent in the second period.  

Raiden Steele wrestled the 126-pound weight class during the dual, was able to pin his opponent in the first period.   Raiden is in his senior year and is looking to better his sixth place finish at State last year.

The wrestlers will be traveling to a dual meet with River Ridge-Cassville on Thursday, December 17 for their next conference matchup.  The varsity dual will begin at 7 p.m. and can be live streamed https://www.youtube.com/c/riverridgeathleticdepartment
