In a rematch of pitchers from their first meeting, where North Crawford rallied for a 4-3 win, North Crawford pitcher Joe Childs and Weston’s Marcus McCauley locked into a pitchers’ dual with McCauley getting the win this time.

Weston scored single runs in the first and fourth innings for a 2-0 lead going into the sixth inning.  With one out, Estin Salmon reached on an error, as did Joe Childs.  An infield single by Matt Friar scored Salmon, putting runners on first and second and the score 2-1.  Jerrid McDaniel reached on a fielder’s choice, as Weston got Friar out at second.  A walk to Hunter Fortney loaded the bases for Joe Bedessem.  However, Bedessem popped out to the second baseman to end the threat.  The Trojans went 1-2-3 in the top of the seventh inning ending the game.

Childs took the loss as he struck out six and walked one batter.  With the loss, the Trojans fell to 6-3 in conference play and 7-8 overall.
