PATCH GROVE – After coming off huge emotional victories over Potosi and Shullsburg, it would have only been natural for the River Ridge varsity boys basketball team to relax just a little against visiting Belmont last Thursday night.

The Timberwolves may not have been at their sharpest last Thursday night, but they managed to remain undefeated in the Six Rivers West conference with a 39-30 victory over the visiting Braves.

With the win, coach Tom Neises’ squad improved to 7-0 in league play and 11-2 overall, while Belmont fell to 2-6, 3-9.
