Benton players get defensive during the Darlington Tournament where they finished in second place.

The Benton varsity volleyball team scored a major victory for their program last Saturday by finishing second of eight teams at the Darlington Tournament.
While they may not have won the tournament, just getting to the championship match was a victory in and of itself.
In pool play, coach Russ Hamm's squad went 4-2, and defeated Barneveld 2-1 in their semifinal match.
Argyle was waiting for them in the championship, where the Zephyrs suffered back-to-back losses of 25-6 and 25-12.
Sarah Redfearn led the team with 43 kills on the day, while Bailey Redfearn added 12 ace serves and Alyssa Leeser 56 assists.
The Zephyrs were just coming off a 3-0 sweep of Shullsburg two nights earlier, where Sarah Redfearn put down 15 kills, Brittany Lyne three blocks, Bailey Redfearn five aces and Leeser 19 assists.
Last Tuesday night, Benton suffered a 3-0 loss to River Ridge, where Sarah Redfearn had 10 kills and Bailey 12 assists.
The Zephyrs closed out the regular season against Belmont this past Tuesday night, where they entered the contest with a Six Rivers West conference record of 2-9.
